1. The Design Process
- Accuracy: Please double-check all spelling, dates, and capitalization before submitting your order. I will engrave the text exactly as it is provided in the “Personalization” field.
- Proofing: For complex or high-value items, I will provide a digital proof for your approval before I begin cutting. Production will not start until I receive your written “OK” via email.
- Custom Graphics: If you wish to use a specific logo or artwork, please provide a high-resolution vector file (SVG, AI, or PDF). I will notify you if the file quality is insufficient for a clean laser engrave.
2. Materials & Natural Variation
- Canadian Sourced: I prioritize materials sourced within Canada.
- Wood Grain: Wood is a natural product. Each piece will have unique grain patterns, knots, and color variations. These are not flaws but are part of the “handcrafted” charm that makes your piece one-of-a-kind.
3. Changes & Cancellations
- Timeline for Changes: Once an order is placed, you have 24 hours to request a change to the personalization details.
- Cancellations: Because custom items are created specifically for you, I cannot offer cancellations or refunds once the laser-cutting process has begun.
4. Returns & Exchanges
- Due to the custom nature of my products, personalized items are final sale.
- If there is a physical defect in the material or an error on my part (i.e., the finished product does not match your approved proof), please contact me within 48 hours of receipt with a photo, and I will prioritize a replacement for you.
5. Local Pickup & Shipping
Processing Time: Most personalized orders are completed within 5–10 business days, though this may increase during peak holiday seasons.
Airdrie Residents: I offer free local pickup. Please select the “Local Pickup” option at checkout to bypass shipping fees.
