We take pride in every item created for you! Please review our policy below regarding returns and refunds for both standard and custom orders.
General Return Policy (Non-Custom Items)
- Eligibility Window: We accept returns on any non-custom, non-personalized items within 14 days of delivery.
- Condition: Items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them.
- Refund: Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
- Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Custom and Personalized Order Policy
Due to the unique and personalized nature of our custom products (such as welcome signs, name tags, and personalized ornaments), these items cannot be resold, restocked, or returned.
- Custom orders require a minimum of 14 days’ advance notice.
- Rush orders will incur an additional rush service charge.
- All Sales are Final: Custom and personalized orders cannot be returned or refunded once the design is approved and the production process has begun.
- Design Approval: For all custom orders, we will send you a digital proof or mockup for your review and final approval before starting any laser work. By approving the design, you confirm that all spelling, dates, and specifications are correct.
- Required Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required before work can begin on any custom order. This deposit covers the cost of materials and design time.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
We carefully package every order, but if your item arrives damaged or if there was an error made by Handcrafted by Kara (e.g., wrong design or incorrect spelling that differs from your approved proof):
Resolution: We will work quickly to replace the damaged item or correct our error at no additional cost to you.
Contact Us Immediately: Please contact us within 3 days of delivery via EMAIL and include:
- Your order number.
- A description of the damage or error.
- Clear photographs of the damaged item and the original packaging.
